THE Railway Executive has inviter! Manchester Corporation to enter into two agreements designed to settle. without resort to litigation, the liability for 'damage arising out of the use of vehicles belonging to the Executive or the corporation on the highway.

The corporation has already entered into the agreement in respect of vehicles owned by the transport department, but it has not yet been decided whether to extend it to cover other corporation vehicles and properly.
