Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Britax has extended its range of warning beacons with the introduction of the new E approved 270 Series—high intensity, double flash xenon units.

The company says maintenance costs have been all but eliminated because the xenon tubes have a minimum life of 2,000 hours and all lenses are made from impact-resistant polycarbonate.

The 270 Series beacons are suitable for most vehicles and can be operated from both 12 and 24V supplies without adjustment. Low current con sumption-1.8A for 12V and 0.8A for 24V—means they can be used for longer periods when the engine is not running without draining the vehicle's battery.

Four types of base fixing allow for a variety of mounting options including plug-in and magnetic.

All 270 Series models comply with the latest EC special warning lamp regulations and with EMC Directive 89/336/EEC which ensure electromagnetic compatibility with ABS brakes and radios etc.
