Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Latest technical pamphlet from Westinghouse CVB is one of the company's differential protection valve.

This valve is increasingly used on heavy goods vehicles and has been designed to prevent overloading of spring brake actuator push rods, slack adjusters and foundation brakes. Such overloading can be caused by heavy application of the service brakes at the same time as the spring brakes are applied: the valve prevents compounding the full diaphragm and spring forces.
