Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SIX hauliers failed in their objections at Bridlington, last week, when L. F. Robinson. Ltd.. Whitby, asked for an additional B-licence vehicle to carry milk in containers. for the Milk Marketing Board. Maj. F. S. Eastwood, Yorkshire Licensing Authority, granted the application after hearing evidence by three of the objectors.

Mr. A. E. Lacey, Robinson's managing director, said they had bought a milk round from Clover Dairies, Hull, which meant that they had to carry an extra 1,200 gallons a day. Their fleet consisted of 33 vehicles, 15 of them devoted cornpletely to milk haulage, and the addi

tional work could not be done without another vehicle A director of Clover Dairies described Robinson's as the best hauliers serving the depot. One of the objectors had frequently been reported for being late, and none of the six was up to Robinson's standards.

The regional transport officer for the Milk Marketing Board said they wanted Robinson's to do the, work as they were an efficient company and the biggest milk hauliers in the area.

Granting the application, Maj. Eastwood pointed out that the customer had to be considered.
