Colt Seavers (played by Lee Majors) was a Hollywood stuntman who moonlighted as a bounty hunter. And in the early 1980s his jacked-up pickup truck was frequently seen flying through the air on our TV screens. The truck was actually a heavily customised '80s GMC. complete with winches, chrome rollbar and 38-inch tyjes. It was finished in two-tone brown.and had an eagle painted on the hood. Countless GMCs were destroyed while filming the numerous jump scenes. until eventually the TV company made a special jump truck with reinforced frame and axles, and a mid-mounted engine.
