• Eastern Licensing Authority hen Peter has granted a twovehicle one-trailer national licence to a Derbyshire haulier who has made his transport manager a partner in the business.
Colin Sellars, trading as EMH Transport of Chelmorton, near Buxton, could not be granted a licence when his transport manager, Eileen Heathcote, was a partner in her estranged husband's haulage business in the North Western Traffic Area.
When she told the LA that her husband's business would be his alone after their divorce proceedings are completed, Peter said the licence would be granted provided the application were in the name of a partnership between Sellars and Heathcote.
