THE HEALTH and Safety Executive is preparing codes practice which will, among other things, give detailed guidan, on the best means for carrying dangerous substances, and ti security of loads on vehicles. When he announced this in the Commons, Transport Minist Norman Fowler added that he had urged the chairman of t Health and Safety Commission to prepare draft regulatio quickly. "I am, of course, anxious to ensure that when hazardo substances travel by road they do so in the safest possil manner," commented Mr Fowler.
