• To provide a more flexible clerical service, following the introduction of Devlin Phase II, the Port of London Authority announces that it has been decided to centralize import ledger office work at India and Millwall docks.
The general office 17-25 department (previously South West India general office) will close, with effect from next Sunday. As from Monday all import documents, eg delivery orders, transfer orders, documents of title, HM Customs import entries, etc, in respect of all import cargo handled by the Authority at the India and Mil!wall docks should be addressed to or lodged at—the General Office, India and Millwall Docks, Poplar, London, E14 8JF.
