Road Haulage Executives, Bristol Tramways and Carriage Co., Ltd., are designing a special type of trailertransporter to carry container bodies. Three types of underfloor-engined chassis are being built, and work is also proceeding on the chassis assembly of Lodekka double-deckers.
The Commercial Motor understands that a special light coach, which has been operated on London Transport Green Line services, has proved satisfactory. Some military types are also under development.
