DAF TRUCKS remained one of only three European manufacturers which made a profit last year, even although it fell from £6. 25m in 1983 cc £2. 25m.
By comparison with Renault Vehicules Industriels' loss of 0,000 per vehicle sold, it made a profit of £15 on each of the 14,203 delivered last year.
