A COMPUTERISED control system to cut pallet losses was launched in London last week at the Warehouse '85 exhibition by Synergy Logistics of Loughborough, As pallet load-out information is keyed into the BlueChip pallet control system, it automatically amends relevant computerised records such as pallet stock at the depot, haulier or customer.
Syndergy says that it is quicker and more accurate than the paperwork-based clerical work and pallet losses are reduced.
The Blue-Chip system is designed to run on the IBM personal computer and the software costs 3:1,500.
