FLOWERS Transport of York's senior managers have new responsibilities under a reorganisation announced last week.
John Kilmartin has moved from operations and becomes finance director, responsible for finance and administration. He has been with the company for 16 years.
David Smith, who joined in 1982 as company accountant, becomes marketing and development manager. Mr Smith has a BA Hons in accountancy and finance, and is a chartered accountant.
Former sales and marketing manager David Little takes over as operations director. He is now responsible for the transport, warehousing and distribution operations, which have been merged.
Managing director Glyn Samuel said that Flowers, a Transport Development Group company, is aiming to develop its break bulk and distribution business.
