Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WITH EVER-INCREASING costs, particularly in respect of new equipment, most operations use finance to purchase new vehicles! This represents a large part of their monthly earnings. For the first year of the vehicle's life any mechanical repairs are carried out under the manufacturer's warranty.

However, hire-purchase agreements are usually for three years and an operator can expect to have to meet increasing costs for repairs whilst still having a large sum to fir monthly for hire-purchase.

We offer an extended wa ranty insurance on new vehicli that we supply to cover tf second and third years in re pect of the engine, gearbox ar rear axles. In the case of a Le land Clydesdale or Lynx, th would cover single bills up £1000, with a maximum clai figure during the year 0500.

In the case of Octopus at Marathon, the cover would I E2000 with a limit of £500 whilst for other models the fl ures would be in between the sums. For customers away frc our area, we can arrange repairs to be carried out at place more convenient to VIE if required.

We feel that this scheme v be of great benefit particularly owner-drivers or small flee but fleet operators could finc advantageous.

I will be pleased to sup( further details on request.
