Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A RANGE of purpose-built gravity-discharge tippers for hauling grain, animal feed and similar bulk cargoes has been developed by Neville Industries (Mansfield).

Body construction is based on the Nevilloy design with intermediate floor support members between the main integral ribs.

In the interests of achieving maximum possible cubic capacity, the 395mm (151/2in) deep I-beam chassis frame is stepped, but to avoid stress concentrations, the height difference is gradual with the angled section of floor reinforced locally between the crossbearers.

The all-welded aluminium, body is said to be lighter than riveted or Huckbolted designs.

As an example to illustrate the weight, a 45cum (1,576cuft) model weighs 5.8 tonnes (5 tons 14cwt).

The roof is of 10swg non-slip aluminium chequerplate, access to which is gained via a front ladder.

Hinged top-loading hatches are provided, each of 1370x1760mm (4ft Gin x 2ft 6in) while an interior ladder gives access for inspection and cleaning.

Four of the new tipping trailers are going into service with PauIs and Sanders Ltd, malt producers.

The 9.1m (30ft) long trailers have 2.28m (7ft Gin) high sides, and when coupled to the company's Bedford TM tractive units, can carry 21 tonnes (20tons 14cwt) at 32 tons gcw.

Telehoist FR6-4 single ram tipping gear is fitted.
