MR. I. 0. FISHER, traffic superintendent of Rotherham Transport Department, has been appointed transport manager.
MR. C. NURSE, chief inspector of Exeter Transport Department, has been appointed assistant traffic superintendent of Coventry Transport Department.
MR. E. G. KEDGE has become publicity officer of Small and Parkes, Ltd. He was formerly with British Road Services in charge of publicity and editor of B.R.S. Magazine.
MR. L. JAGO, technical representative in the London area of Fodens, Ltd., will succeed MR. R. G. VAcY-Astt as manager of the company's marine division. Mr. Vacy-Ash is retiring after 22 years' service.
MR. H. R. SNOW, who recently retired from the general managership of Grimsby Transport Department, has given 60 years' service to public transport, entering the employ of Bristol Corporation in 1895. He joined the Great Grimsby Tramways Co., Ltd., in 1902, and in 1925 the corporation took the company over. He was promoted from traffic superintendent to acting general manager in 1945.
530 MR. J. W. TIDSWELL, assistant to one of the executive directors of the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., has been appointed works manager of the company's Hirwaun factory.
MR. C. E. Cum has become assistant traffic manager of Birch Bros., Ltd. He was formerly with the Thames Valley Traction Co., Ltd., and previously London Transport, which he served from 1935-50, except for the war years.
