for vehicles up to 65 tonnes GVW has been launched by Ronani of Henfield, West Sussex.

The system, which CM has seen installed on Volkswagen's LT mini-artic demonstrator, consists of a load sensor at each wheel, a data recording box and a dash-mounted display.

As well as individual wheel and axle loadings and total gross weight, it can monitor information on load temperature, door openings, vehicle movements and journey times.

The system stores 500 events in its memory which can either be printed out or downloaded to a laptop computer. It costs £2,500 per vehicle.
