To enable vehicle owners to comply with the reflective rear marking legislation, Joseph Lucas Ltd has announced a range of reflective plates.
Manufactured in 16-gauge aluminium, there are basically two types, each in two sizes. Both are suitable for either free suspension or flat mounting. Type one has alternating red fluorescent and yellow reflective diagonal stripes (figs 1, 2 and 3) and type two has a central yellow reflective panel overprinted with the words LONG VEHICLE and having a red fluorescent surround (figs. 4 and 5). Prices range from £4.65 to £6.32.
