A We think you are referring to the

Organization of Teachers of Transport Studies, which was set up at a meeting in London last November on. the instigation of Mr John Hibbs, principal lecturer in transport studies at the City of London Polytechnic. The members are drawn not only from those having full-time polytechnic and university teaching appointments but also from large transport organizations such as British Rail. They may also come from local government.

The acting secretary of OTTS is Mr J. S. Gilks, 1 Norbury Villas, Hawks Road, Kingston, Surrey.

The organization is planning to hold a conference on July 7 this 'year at College Hall, Knighton Road. Leicester, at which it is planned to adopt a constitution and elect officers. In the afternoon there will be a seminar on the teaching of transport studies, with papers on the tales of the university, the polytechnics and the technical colleges, and the framework of transport education and training._ The speaker for the latter subject will be the Chartered Institute of Transport's director of education and training.
