Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

from a special correspondent • The Dundee LDoY centre was established in 1969 when there were 47 entrants; this number grew to 56 last year and to 76 on Sunday, when, in one of the few spots to attract the sun, it was held at the National Cash Register Company Car Park.

Although the round has a relatively short history familiar names figure among the winners, showing that experience tells. Drivers who incurred less than 100 penalty points in the Highway Code and legal responsibilities section were the exception rather than the rule, and several competitors were shown their own paper to see just where they went wrong.

S. Donachie, last year's overall winner, was driving a BM C again but this year with 167 penalties incurred in Class B was well beaten into second place by R. Clark. a British Oxygen colleague, also in a BMC, with 84 points, who became the round champion.

D. Clark, who last year came second in Class C driving a Ford, was runner-up again but driving an Albion for a new employer; curiously enough S. Sampson repeated his third placing in an Albion.

Similarly, in the first artic class (E) J. Cowe repeated his first placing in a Karrier. And in Class G second and third placings again went to P. Clark and G. Addison respectively. In Class H, however, last year's winner, R. Anderson, had to be content with third place, but J. McGrath improved his third placing of last year into that of runner up.

The prizes were presented by Robert Livingston, Automobile Association regional controller for Scotland and Northern Ireland, who said: "We should speed the road safety gospel by precept and example: it is easier to criticize a man's wife than to criticize his driving "
