Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Preparations for the forthcoming show at Belle Vue, Manchester, are well in hand, and the directors of the Manchester and District Motor Trades Association, Limited, are to be congratulated on the progress they have made. The reasons for the abstention of a number of manufacturers have been fully set out in our recent issues, but nobody can suggest that the following list of names is unrepresentative We have added the stand numbers in parentheses :—Berna Motors, Ltd. (92); British Petroleum Co., Ltd. (53 and 54); F. Bullock (3); Clayton and Co., Ltd. (82 and 83); Crawford Motor-Body Builders (4); G. P. Cookson and Bros. (5); County Chemical Co., Ltd. (4t): Dook-Swain Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd. (48); Drummond Bros., Ltd. (26 and 27); Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd. (79); Durham, Churchill and Co. (1 and 2); Fastnut, Ltd. (49); Fodens, Ltd. The first two illustrations on this page are of the two. sections of the show : the width of the major portion of the ball-room is no less than 148 feet, whilst that of the adjoining heavy section is 85 feet. The combined length of the two sections is approximately 400 feet. Outside the exhibition buildings are many acres of private trial .ground, some of the surface being splendidly asphalted, whilst other lengths arc laid out as paved roads. The convenience is one which cannot fail to be appreciated by supporters of the show, both from the points of view of the standing of trial and other vehicles, and of facilities for preliminary demonstrations to would-be purchasers of the capacity of the machines, and their handy control. It is not suggested, of course, that the proximity of enclosed grounds can meet all requirements, but Belle Vue is probably second only to the Crystal Palace. Great interest is already being evinced in the Manchester district, and Messrs. John Jennison and Sons, the proprietors of Belle Vue, who are throwing the whole of their energies into the enterprise, can be relied upon to see that no half-measures of publicity are adopted.
