(Part No. 7161346) has now been designed for the Bedford VAL passenger chassis. The kit consists of an operating valve which is attached to the floor panel to the rear of the steering column and connected to the _air pressure reservoir. Through the valve, air pressure is used to operate a cylinder and piston assembly connected to the fuel injection pump stop control lever and also a cylinder and piston assembly connected to a valve in the exhaust front pipe.
The kit is obtainable from Vauxhall/Bedford dealers.
