Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN interesting exhibit at the Royal Smithfield Show, Earls Court, London, is a Haflingermounted hydraulic lift (seen here) destined for street lighting duties with Bedford Corporation. It is manufactured by Western Engineering (Delabole) Co. Ltd., Delabole, North Cornwall, and the hydraulic power is supplied by a B.S.A. 150 c.c. engine; a Holman ATH 8S compressor can also be fitted to this power pack to operate a pneumatic saw for tree-pruning duties. The platform extends to a height of 15 ft., whilst an extension is available which increases the height to 21 ft 6 in.; the platform can be replaced by a crane jib attachment capable of lifting weights up to 5 cwt. Advantages of the unit are its light weight and small overall size—the unit illustrated can operate on the pavement—and its power independence, making it suitable for light trailer mounting. The lift can also be fitted on Land-Rover or similar chassis.

Also at the Show, which closes tonight, is the Bonser 9,000-lb.capacity fork-lift truck illustrated. It is made by Bonser Equipment Ltd.
