• Linkman Tankers Is buying more of the squared-off Australian-built THOMAS semi-trailer tankers. It's adding at least another 10 to the five being run on contract to Sainsbury's in the South-East.
This new order seems to scotch industry rumours that Linkman is experiencing reliability problems with the unusual high stability tankers.
Linkman stresses that the tankers, the barrels of which sit in a cage of protective tubes with crash crumple zones front and rear, are causing them no problems at all.
