A NEW heavy-duty battery, specifically designed for commercial, construction plant and agricultural vehicle use, has been launched by the CBS Group's Automotive Division.
The CBS Turbo is a completely British-made low maintenance commercial battery incorporating the latest in battery design technology to give longer life and reduced self-discharge.
Newly-designed radial plates give better conductivity and thus improved cold start capacity over conventional rectilinear plates. The plates are enveloped using the latest Daramic separators manufactured from flexible, foldable plastic and sealed ultrasonically, thus effectively preventing plate misalignment and shorting often caused by vibration in commercial use.
