We do not require drivers' costs to be included and the average mileage is about 150-200 miles per week.
AThe latest edition of the CM Tables of Operating Costs (obtainable from Cashiers' Department, IPC Business Press (Sales and Distribution) Ltd, 40 Bowling Green Lane, London, EC IR ONE; 70p per copy including postage), shows for those classes of vehicles on the basis of 200 miles per week, total operating costs as follows:— Total operating cost per week (less wages)
5cwt = £ 8.66 15cwt = £13.50 Total operating cost per mile (less wages) 5cwt = 4.33p 15cwt = 6.75p
