What in fact has been the trend in diesel engined goods vehicles over the corresponding 10 years?
A In 1956 the number of goods vehicles
in use fitted with diesel engines was 141,860 or 12.1 per cent of all goods vehicles as compared with 551,400 or 35.2 per cent in 1966.
