LAST AUGUST I was helping to repair a tipper lorry. A splinter of steel shot into my right eye, which resulted in the loss of sight in it.
I drove my lorry after the accident without any difficulty. However, I was advised to notify the Licensing Authorities. They then revoked my hgv licence.
I am appealing against this decision but would like to hear from anybody who has experienced anything similar, so that I can use their case for reference.
