A FINE of £150 was imposed on Southdown Motor Services at Lewes last week after the bus company had pleaded guilty to using a vehicle with the wheel nuts in a dangerous condition.
Southdown divisional engineer James Weeks blamed the fault on sheer carelessness by a fitter. The bus was examined by police after it had been flagged down by motorists.
