INDUSTRY SECRETARY Mr Tony Been is again being urged to investigate the construction and delivery period for buses.
Mr David Madel, Tory MP for Bedfordshire South, believes quicker deliveries of new buses and spare parts could have a major impact on services, particularly in rural areas.
He is asking the Government to take more account of the supply position for new buses before it formulates public trans. port policy.
