• Although the first four Passenger Transport Authorities to be designated under the Transport Act 1968 came into being officially on April 1, the Minister of Transport has not yet nominated the Ministry's members of the Authorities. A spokesman for the MoT told CM on Tuesday that an official announcement would probably be published "shortly".
