• "Tachographs and the road transport engineer" is the subject of an IRTE national lecture to be given by Mr. J. F. Moon at the Royal Society of Arts, John Adam St., London, WC2, at 6.45 p.m. on April 17.
• The Dunlop Co. will increase the recommended retail prices of replacement tyres and tubes, including remoulds, by 5 per cent from April 21. The increase has been accepted by the Board of Trade.
• The double-drive version of the AEC 22ton-g.v.w. Marshal has been chosen for 17 vehicles of this type just ordered by Midlands Storage Ltd. Of these, 12 will be fitted with light alloy bodies built by the suppliers, Kays (Derby) Ltd., and the remainder will have bulk powder tanks.
