Total Oil sub-division Totalheat. Based on 4.34m (171in) wheelbase Leyland 16-13 chassis, the vehicles are equipped with Fergusson 11,500 litre (2,530 gal) tank bodies built by Reynolds Boughton (Devon).

The tanks are divided into four compartments, and fitted with the latest air-operated foot valves, remote power take-off and emergency cut-off which instantly seals each of the fuel compartments.

The five vehicles join a national fleet of 40 Totalheat tankers and will carry domestic, agricultural and industrial oils for customers based between Scunthorpe and Maidstone.
