THAMES Water Authority has taken delivery of 18 Freight Rover Sherpas with bodies by Edbro of Bolton. Sixteen are fitted with a 2.46m (8ft) long by 2 0.3cm (8in) deep, steel dropside tipping body raised by an Edbro MS26/2 underbody hoist driven by an electro/hydraulic power pack. Kerb weight is 1,525kg (30cwt). The remaining two Sherpas are fitted with non-tipping bodies.
