Front-entrance Buses Safer: In a report to the transport committee, Mr. E. R. L. More Buses for Middlesbrough: Authority has been given to Middlesbrough Corporation transport committee to purchase 10 front-entrance double-decker buses.

Leicester Surplus: Leicester City Transport had a surplus of £93,223 in 1964, but after taking into account bus purchases during the year the figure goes down to £29,603. The transport committee recommends that the latter sum should he used to meet part of the cost of new buses which have been ordered.

Another Aberdeen Deficit: For the second year running Aberdeen City Transport had a trading deficit, In the year ended May 31 last, total revenue of the undertaking amounted to £1.327.027. hut with working and other expenses at £1349.568 there was a deficit of £12.541. Deficit in the previous year was £10.409,
