THE ROAD Transport Operator Regulations 2011 come into force on 4 December and, as a result, the industry’s opinion on proposed amendments to the trafic commissioners’ (TC) Statutory Guidance and Directions are being sought.
The consultation began on 8 November and ends on 22 November. It will focus on repute, inance and transport managers.
Under new regulations, an external transport manager won’t be able to manage more than four operations with a total of 50 vehicles. If disqualiied, a transport manager will not be able to work in the EU.
