Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

They are Dodge G16 chassis fitted with a Turner air-lift single-wheel trailing-axle by Vehicle Systems Engineering of Barking, Essex.

Lowfield specified the trailing-axle conversion to raise the vehicle's payload capacity in order to comfortably handle the heavier bottled and canned goods distributed by the firm.

The Dodges are now plated at 21.87 tonnes gvw, allowing a payload of over 13 tonnes.

While wanting a bigger payload, Low-field says it did not need a 6x4 24-tonner and opted for the conversion which cost £3,500 per vehicle. The company says it would prefer to buy an off-the-shelf 6x2 and is talking with manufacturers about the future availability of a chassis.

The four Dodges are fitted with 7.5m (24ft 6in) Besco Eurowall bodies which have a grp sandwich panel construction. There are full-length sliding doors on both sides and a Henderson wide-slat rear shutter.

Two of the Dodges are at the Harthill depot in Lanarkshire and there is one each at Tamworth and Newport. .
