DEMAND FOR 6x2 rigids is rising, says Fred Puttick, used vehicle sales manager at Faversham, Kent-based Renault dealership KTSTrucks:"Customers want them for drawbar work, and quite a few want to equip them with 38-50tm cranes to handle containers.
"Satisfying the demand is difficult because there are so few of them aboutso on several occasions we've converted low-powered tractor units." Demand is healthy for more mainstream used trucks too, he adds:-Business is absolutely brilliant. It's the best start to the year we've had for some four or five years."
