Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I WRITE following the case quoted in the 20 May edition of Commercial Motor regarding the Great Yarmouth driver fined for tachograph offences. The argument put forward by the driver's

defence lawyer claimed that: "...few employers in East Anglia recognise the hours' rules." As a transport manager of a long-established family business — and as a member of the Freight Transport Association — I personally found that comment offensive. And I doubt ill am alone. The many other hauliers in East Anglia who, like us, operate within legal frameworks will surely feel similarly aggrieved at such a suggestion!
