Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

III JONATHON PERRIS drives a Volvo FH12 34f1for Robert Wiseman out of Stockport. "I like the look of this cab. it is higher than mine, but access is nice and easy," he says. "The steering wheel is on the large side but visibility is good. The dash is lower than on mine but I can see up closer to the front of the Volvo. There's a lot more room inside this cab and the armrest is just In the right place. The seat is firm but it gives more support than mine.

"The engine has plenty of grunt. It pulls a lot stronger than my 340 and it doesn't baulk at the weight. Comfortshift is impressive. I could soon get used to it. It takes a lot of effort out of driving.'' • ANDREW WILLIAMS comes from Stoke-on-Trent and drives a Oaf 85 430 for the Coop. "I like the way the cab Is laid out with the wood trim, and the loose carpets are easier to clean.

"The floor is not quite flat but the cab feels roomy and the bunks are nice and wide. Cummins engines used to need a few revs to get them to pick up and go, but this has plenty of torque low down. Comfortshift is neat. Its nice to have the engine brake linked in with the brake pedal.

"ERF brakes have always been good while they can be a bit spongy on the MAN. The nearside mirror creates a bit of a blindspot with the screen pillar. It's no quieter than my Oaf but the ride is very smooth".

is based at Coventry and drives a MercedesBenz Actros 1840 for Christian Salvesen. "It's comfortable, there's plenty of space in the cab and all the controls are In the right place. It feels like driving a bus with this steering wheel.

"The engine is not bad for 420hp. It hardly feels like it is pulling a load. Corrrfortshift is very clever. It's a pity you can't do away with the clutch pedal altogether. There is not much roll and it rides very well. I think it's more comfortable than the Actros. Its quite a bit different to what I expected."
