Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• by Brian Weatherley European Tow Show, the first allindustry show for recovery operators, opens its doors at Donington Park Raceway on 17-19 July.

Created with the support of every major recovery trade group including REMSA (the equipment manufacturers association), the Association of Vehicle Recovery Operators, The Institute of Vehicle Recovery, the London Association of Recovery Operators and the Road Rescue Recovery Association, the show will include both covered and outdoor equipment exhibitions.

Among the speakers at the business seminar to be held on the opening day will be Roland Burberry of the Off, who will brief delegates on the implications to recovery operators of the proposed new STGO regulations, as well as the law governing flashing red lights. There will also be a presentation on corporate manslaughter from a legal expert.

Among the manufacturers showing new kit at the ETS, Boniface will unveil a new range of Continental bodies designed to appeal to recovery operators from across Europe, Manufactured from stainless steel with large

lockers to house the many accessories and attachments used at rescue scenes, the bodies have a number of special features designed to reduce the amount of lifting necessary to remove the equipment from inside.

The bodies are built around either the `Interstater' or 'Recoverer' range of lifting equipment. Both are available with the Maxireach towline Boom, a low-profile boom compatible with front under-run protection; when coupled with the latest wheel lifting devices this reduces the amount of time required to load vehicles needing towing, thereby minimising the time a recovery operator has to work in dangerous roadside situations.

German manufacturer ProLux is using ETS to make its UK debut. Its ProLux-Showtrailer is said to be °probably" the biggest exhibition of towing accessories in Europe, with visitors able to take a close look at its products including clothing, lightbars and winches alongside wheel lift straps and ratchets. Visitors will also be offered the chance to taste (naturally enough) German bear. ProLux says it is looking to find a UK business partner to help market its products, • Contact: www.towshow.co.uk; 07730 314418.
