Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

U Customs officers at Immingham have made two seizures of contraband cigarettes—worth over Lim— within seven days.

The first seizure, of 1.4m Benson and Hedges and Superking cigarettes, was found when officers examined an unaccompanied trailer which has arrived from Rotterdam. The cigarettes were packed on nine pallets and concealed under boxes containing empty CD and video cassette cases.

In the second seizure, Customs found 3.5m Superkings—again on an unaccompanied trailer from Holland—hidden in boxes of dried spaghetti.

Investigations into both cases are on-going, but as ow went to press, no arrests had been made.

Customs has now made five major seizures of cigarettes and hand-roiling tobacco at Immingham this year. The other three were of 3.8m cigarettes found in a consignment of spaghetti in February, 1.4m cigarettes found in a load of timber in March and one tonne of hand-rolling tobacco found in a shipment of sauces in June.
