Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

-laving just spent a good deal of time mernpting to produce a factual argument in favour of tachographs (which, .emember, was only intended to ;upport the real reasons for tachojraphs — namely to enforce the hours aw fairly) I was a little disappointed by dir Willmott's response published in 7ommercial Motor December 20.

If he will contact me, I am prepared to discuss our assumptions (and their shortcomings) with him in detail.

His own assertions — for that is all they are — are not borne out by practical experience and are considerably weakened by his quite apparent lack of first-hand knowledge of the instrument and of the mentality of drivers —, most of whom would co-operate given the opportunity.
