Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Staples are fired in twothousands of a second by the new Industrie 350 pneumatic tacker from Industrial Stapling and Packaging Ltd. Claimed as the smallest machine on the market, it has a totally enclosed safety mechanism. The 350 is designed to increase output for the operator while making his job easier.

It fires narrow crown staples ranging from 6mm to 22mm leg lengths. This covers the majority of fastening applications. Air consumption is low, between 40 and 90 depending on the degree of penetration required and the density of the material being tacked. And, I.S. and P. provides spares and fast service inexpensively.

The machine weighs only 28.75oz, measures 1.75in by 6in. by Bin., and is two-thirds the size of comparable imported equipment. For the operator this means a less tiring working day resulting in longer maintenance of high-speed working. The ' manufacturer quotes 120 operations a minute as the 350's "cruising" speed.

The tacker has a swivel hosecoupling so that it can be moved to any position without line kinks or adjustments. The nose, too. is shaped for easy access to corners, crevices and angles. Accidental firing is prevented by the safety mechanism which is totally en closed to prevent either accidental or intentional activation. Furthermore, it will at no time respond to trigger pressure unless its nose is in contact with the job.

Early warning of the need to reload is provided by a visual staple check. The operator can see how many staples he has left without releasing the magazine and halting the work run unnecessarily.

Down time is further cut by bottom loading. This feature allows swift one-handed reload ing of the 200-capacity magazine, without the tacker leaving the working hand. Fumbling is avoided by a wide magazine latch and a staple holder so shaped that the tackstrip cannot tip out before the magazine cover is clicked back in position. Tough and easy to maintain, the unit is made of hard steel and aluminium-alloy. All working parts are hardened for durability and the whole valve mechanism is constructed in one piece for quick-change servicing.
