Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Production of the Metropolitan-Superior export bus body (CM September 8 1967) has now begun—in Cammell Laird's factory at Beaumaris, Anglesey. This move has been made possible by the acquisition by Caramel' Laird on January 1 of Vickers' shareholding in MetropolitanCammell (Holdings) of which Metropolit anCammell-Weymann Ltd. is a subsidiary company.

The first batch of Superior bodies is for Caltex Services Ltd. who are purchasing 10. mounted on Bedford VAM 70 left hand drive chassis with power steering. They will be based at Bahrein in the Persian Gulf for use in the oil fields. The chassis are 16ft lin. models and the bodies are 32ft 2in. by 8f1 by 9ft lin. overall height with 6ft head room, with seating for 53 on three and two transverse seats.

Cammell Laird's Beaumaris factory originally belonged to Saunders Roe, who built bus bodies there including a large batch to London Transport design in the late 1940s which were mounted on RTtype chassis; a number of these are still in service with LTR.
