present driving licence permits me to drive vehicles with an unladen weight of only 3 tons or less. Is there any way in which I can drive heavier vehicles and if so are there any driving schools which give tuition on the larger type of commercial vehicle?
ABefore one can drive a "heavy motor car", i.e. a vehicle of over 3 tons unladen weight, one must be 21 years of age or over, so in your case there is nothing more you can do in the matter until you reach that age. Regarding commercial vehicles tuition, and as you are in the Medway area, you could write to the British School of Motoring at 323 High Street, Chatham.
