nETAILS of a full range of conversion kits for goods vehicle braking systems have been issued by Clayton Dewandre Co. Ltd.

The kits are intended to enable operators to meet both the interim and final efficiency requirements included. in the latest Construction and Use Regulations.

Clayton Dewandre has co-operated with vehicle and trailer manufacturers in the specification of kits which are now becoming available from them and to supplement these supplies is making kits to cover a wide variety of conversion requirements immediately available.

There are in all nine different kits available including parts, for example, to provide powerassistance for the handbrake of vacuumand air-brake vehicles, and kits for converting singleto three-line semi-trailer braking.

The following list (with prices) shows the range available from Clayton Dewandre distributors. It is stressed that operators should give full details of the vehicle or vehicles involved with make, type and chassis number and any modifications that have been carried out in the life of the vehicle.

Two-pipeline air installation kit for single-axle semi-trailers (£27 15s.); kit to provide three-line air braking from a two-line system (excluding triple-diaphragm conversion set) on single-axle semi-trailers (£7 12s. 6d.) and tandem-axle semi-trailers (£14 2s. 3d.); handbrake assistance kit for vacuum-brake vehicles (z21 7s.) and for air-brake vehicles (£28 15s. 9d.); air-brake conversion kit from singleto triple-diaphragm chambers (per chamber according to size from £5 12s. 3d. to £8 17s. 9d.).
