TRANSPORT UNDER Secretary Geoff Margason is to become the new director of the Transport and Road Research Laboratory on January 31, 1984. He takes over from Ron Bridle who is retiring.

Mr Margason is currently deputy director of TRRL and is well placed to maintain and develop the Laboratory.
