• The board of Seddon Diesel Vehicles Ltd announced on Wednesday that it had accepted the resignation of Mr P. M. Yates from all his directorships within the group, adding that the resignation was for personal reasons and did not follow from any disagreement within the board.
Mr P. W. Redmond has been appointed managing director of Atkinson Vehicles Ltd until such time as a successor to Mr Yates is appointed.
