V, failed to appear at a Western area public inquiry at Devizes last week, the Licensing Authority, Mr. J. R. C. Samuel-Gibbon, refused the application. Mr. C. Abdilla sought a licence to carry general goods in Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Oxford. British Road Services and 10 private operators had lodged objections and were legally represented.
