Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I hear that the four-footed inhabitants of the remote Hebridean Island of Taransay are faring rather better than their two-legged companions. A Northamptonshire company, Baker Group Distribution, has won the contract to supply provisions for the dogs taking part in Castaway 2000. This is the controversial fly-on-the-wall documentary from BBC 1, in which 27 people volunteered to live on a deserted Scottish island for a year. So far two have jumped ship.

Regular deliveries, including food, baskets and feeding bowls, will be made by BGD with sister company Butcher's Pet Care. But it's no more than the pooches deserve, as these working dogs will be kept busy throughout the year looking after the island's 900 sheep.

Of course, The Hawk's dog, Foden, is more suited to the urban than the rural. The one time he caught sight of a sheep he made off at great speed with his tail between his legs. I wouldn't have minded, but it was only a cardboard cut-out in the high street butcher's window!
